The FTC "Men of Faith" Men's Ministry is excited about the upcoming Superbowl Party at Faith Tabernacle Church, Feb. 7th, 2010, @ 5:00pm. FREE! FREE! FREE! Food, fun and fellowship!
We'll be watching the game on a 73 in. HDTV, so it will almost be like sitting right there at the stadium.


                                                                            

  FTC realizes there are a lot of "unsung" heroes in the community. Our ministry will be celebrating and salute all of these very important people that serve so unselfishly for us. Come out and join us on Sunday, Jan. 31st, 2010 at 5:00pm at FTC for "You Are Not Forgotten",  Hands That Serve and Hearts That Care to recognize Bus Drivers, Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Teachers, Nurses, Security and EMS Technicians. We will also honor Ushers, Greeters, Armour Bearers, and all of the Ministry of Helps.

     

All of the women of FTC are still talking about the great time they had during the Iaomai Fun Night!
Great food, lots of laughs, tons of games. Elder Cynthia is still the queen of "The Jacks".

Byron Cage on his latest live recording at Second Ebenezer Church, Friday March 13th, 2009.
Other featured artists include: Tye Tribbett, Karen Clark Sheard, and Pastor Marvin Winans.
This highly anticipated new release is creating a lot of buzz in the Gospel Music industry, and we
congratulate Sis. Sherrie for using her gifts to advance God's Kingdom in music ministry!

FTC was one of the many ministries in attendance at the 2-day Leadership and Staff Training
Workshops hosted by Bishop-Elect Steven J. Bennett at House of Prayer and Praise Ministries.
Pastors and their spouses, Worship Leaders, Sound Teams, Office Staff, Youth Directors and
all that serve in the church met in sessions to analyze and strategize on how to equip
God's people to do His work and build up the 21st century church. Pastor V. R. Thomas
opened the general session with an eye-opening, straight-talking, thought-provoking
presentation on an area of ministry very prevalent in the church today: "How to Counsel the Homosexual From A Biblical Perspective". His insight on this topic generated countless questions and dialog.
Powerful information was exchanged for leaders to enhance their effectiveness in execution of:

• How to motivate your team to be more effective
• How to flow in music to enhance the service
• How to keep the youth motivated and committed

God is indeed doing a new thing, yet many are not aware of it because of a lack of revelation. I would like to share some insight as to what God is doing in the Body of Christ. God is preparing the Body of Christ spiritually and naturally. He is pruning, purging and sifting the Church, getting it ready for a new season. People are being moved and repositioned so that they are in their proper places for growth and development as people and especially as Christians.
